Meet the Dice Smith

Hi hi! 

My name is Izzy and I am the  creative behind Magic by Maker!

I'm a wife, mom of two, retired ballerina, and now dice-smith, located in the Inland Northwest!

I started making dice on accident after I'd found out that you can just, make dice for D&D. I grew up playing video games and was first introduced to D&D my junior year in high school. Fast-forward many, many years (and two kids later), I found myself in need of a creative outlet. I'd always been a creative child through writing, drawing, music and dance, and felt that pull again as I navigated my identity outside of being a mom. Thus, Magic By Maker was born in 2022!

There's something so special about throwing epoxy into a mold with an idea in your head and just hoping it comes out right that keeps me coming back to dice making. There's a mystery to it, but also a science and an art to it that I just love. Making pretty little math rocks brings me so much joy, and I hope that joy is transferred to you through my dice!
